OVERVIEW

The Renaissance Club is home to a championship golf course designed by the renowned American architect Tom Doak. It will have a state of the art clubhouse built in a style traditional to Scotland, as well as 100 luxury lodge rooms available for renting by the day, week or longer periods by the membership and their guests. The Renaissance Club mission also includes the restoration of the historic designed landscape of the estate.

At this time, the course is complete and has been open for play since April 2008. One lodge has already been completed and currently houses the pro shop, a members’ lounge, men’s and women’s locker rooms and nine luxurious rooms available to our members and their guests.

For all membership enquiries please contact our Membership Director, Simon Holt, whose details can be found on the contacts page.

MEMBERSHIP BOND INFORMATION

The Renaissance Club, in compliance with UK laws and regulations, has revised the Membership Rules requiring prospective members to acquire a non-interest bearing Membership Bond at a value determined by the Club. The current value is £60,000 ($100,000), which is subject to change, at the discretion of the Club based upon the Market Conditions. The Membership Bond is redeemable at the Bond Amount thirty (30) years from the subscription date, subject to the Club’s policies regarding the resignation and transfer of Memberships (see Membership Transfer Provisions), unless the Bondholder elects, in their sole discretion, to renew the Membership Bond at maturity for another thirty (30) year term.

The Membership Bond is a transferable financial instrument, subject to the Rules and Regulations of the Club. Specifically, up until the Club attains 600 members, a resigning member will be able to redeem the Membership Bond at the original Bond Amount once the Club has admitted four new members. After the Club attains the 600 member level, a resigning member will be able to transfer the Membership Bond to a new Member for the full current market value of the Membership Bond less a 15% transfer fee payable to the Club.
